Keefe, Bruyette & Woods (KBW) announced the appointment of Alessandro Santoni to its European Equity Research Team as Managing Director where he will be responsible for coverage of Italian, Greek and Austrian banks. Chauncey Dewey, Keefe Bruyette & Woods Inc.'s co-head of diversified financials investment banking, has resigned. The departure comes shortly after the Stifel Financial Corp. subsidiary said it tapped former Ares Management LLC senior adviser Halle Benett to co-lead the diversified financials group.
