Reality Mobile LLC Key Developments

Reality Mobile LLC Wins Subcontract from Oceus Networks

Reality Mobile LLC announced that they have been awarded a subcontract with Oceus Networks to provide enterprise-class real-time mobile video collaboration solutions to the U.S. Navy. The company's product, RealityVision(R), was selected as part of a pilot for a new Navy portable maritime Command and Control (C2) system, making this the first operational deployment of 4G LTE for the U.S. Department of Defense. The award is as a subcontractor to Oceus Networks, under a contract for a pilot being conducted over the next year with the Kearsarge Expeditionary Strike Group, homeported in Norfolk, Va. The company will be an integrated part of the Xiphos tactical cellular solution which will provide high capacity secure wireless broadband for real time access to Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) data for intra-ship communications over the horizon, and inter-ship communications via commercial hand-held devices. The company allows for the sharing of live video, mission critical data and GPS tracking through commercially available hardware, smart phones, tablets, PCs, cameras, and virtually any system (including cellular, tactical, Wi-Fi and satellite networks) currently being used for mobile communication, anywhere in the world.

Reality Mobile LLC Announces the Availability of RealityVision 3.2

Reality Mobile LLC announced the availability of RealityVision 3.2. The product delivers game-changing capabilities to Android and iOS users, by allowing them to share video feeds they are watching or transmitting with other authorized users, along with associated mapping information and other contextual data. Users of supported Android smartphones and tablets and iPhones will be able to utilize a new 'Share' function within the application to directly 'Send Video' while transmitting or watching a single video feed. The user will be able to select other authorized users and send notifications regarding the shared video, add context to the shared feed and then immediately share. Leveraging its Automation Gateway, the sharing function can be initiated through pre-defined business rules. iPad users will have similar capabilities, and will be able to simultaneously visualize multiple video sources and share directly from that view. They will also have an enhanced user experience as the first features of a 'light' version of its management console are migrated to a tablet. All live RealityVision user locations and activities will now be viewable from the main and side maps of the iPad. RealityVision 3.2 is available immediately to all customers with active Annual Maintenance and Support contracts.

Reality Mobile LLC Unveils RealityvVsion(R) 3.1 - Extending Mobile Collaboration

Reality Mobile LLC announced the availability of RealityVision(R) 3.1. Continuing its commitment to provide enterprise customers with open, flexible options for their mobile video requirements, RealityVision 3.1 offers, among other features, full support for the current generation of iPhone(R) and iPad(R). Since Apple introduced iPad, both enterprises and consumers have avidly embraced the newest mobile form factor--Apple recently said more than 80% of Fortune 100 companies are either currently using or testing iPads within their organizations. These devices can be now leveraged by RealityVision users to create and share real-time video to and from the mobile edge. The RealityVision software platform extends real-time situational awareness and the delivery of mission and business critical information to and from the mobile edge, over COTS hardware and existing infrastructure. A number of the new features in RealityVision 3.1 spotlight the company's patented processes and technology surrounding location as a critical source of user context. These technologies empower mobile users to create and share content with each other in dynamic ways - creating a new category of mobile content and the ability to enhance it with location-based information and other data. As more users migrate to mobile devices (smart phones, tablets, iPad, iPhone, etc.), these patented technologies extend their ability to share rich media and other information in real-time. To address these evolving requirements, expanded features and enhancements RealityVision 3.1 represents a much broader collaborative approach that gives users a more powerful way to add their own input to incoming and outgoing video sources. RealityVision 3.1 delivers these new features to users of the Android and iOS platforms; a future release will deliver comparable functionality to RealityVision users on Windows Mobile devices. RealityVision 3.1 gives field users more context while they are watching a feed, either immediately or when they later retrieve it from their personal history log. If the stream has associated location information, the field user will be able to view that information in a variety of ways. Similarly, if the available video source has text tags, the device user will be able to visualize them as well. The mobile-to-mobile visualization of live video and other streaming data along with the originating location information is a patented process for Reality Mobile -- more information about the patented technology and processes can be found on the company's website.
