The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco announced that Mark Gould, senior vice president, Seattle Branch manager, and deputy product manager will lead the national Cash Product Office (CPO) as its new product manager. He was appointed to replace Mark Mullinix, executive vice president, and national manager of the CPO who is leaving the Twelfth District to become first vice president and chief operating officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Mr. Gould joined the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco in 1991, and is a member of the Banks Executive Committee, the Federal Reserve Systems Business Technology Council, and co-chairs the Federal Reserve Systems Financial Services Technology and Automation Leadership Team.
Steven R. Gardner, president and CEO, Pacific Premier Bancorp Inc., Costa Mesa, CA, was appointed as vice chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council. Mr. Gardner has been on the council since October 2011. Mr. Gardner has served in management positions in credit administration, portfolio management, operations and risk management for the past 25 years. Prior to joining Pacific Premier Bancorp Inc., he was an executive with Hawthorne Financial responsible for credit and lending administration and was part of their management team. In addition, Melanie J. Dressel, president and CEO, Columbia Bank, Tacoma, WA, Malcolm Hotchkiss, president and CEO, United Labor Bank, FSB, Oakland, CA, and Robert A. Stuart, president and CEO, OnPoint Community Credit Union, Portland, OR, were appointed as the newest members of the Twelfth District's CDIAC. They will each serve a three-year term.
Adrian Rodriguez will join the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco on February 1 as Senior Vice President, Communications. Reporting to the President and CEO of the Bank, he will serve on the Executive Committee, and provide strategic direction to the Banks communications efforts. His responsibilities will cover all internal and external communications, including social media, the Banks public website, financial education and various outreach functions. Most recently he was chief communications officer at MetLife, where he was responsible for enterprise-wide communications strategy and served as primary communications counsel to executive management.
