Sagent Advisors, LLC announced that Joseph Mooney and Paul Scherzer have joined the firm as Managing Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Mooney, who joins from Citigroup, will serve as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, and Mr. Scherzer, who joins from Credit Suisse, will lead the firm's Metals and Mining efforts. They are both based in Sagent's New York headquarters. Prior to joining Sagent, Mr. Mooney was a Managing Director at Citigroup where he had been since 1999, most recently as the senior M&A partner overseeing East Coast technology.

Sagent Advisors, LLC announced that Will Carnell, Sarah Forcino and Katie Kieran have been promoted to the position of Vice President. Mr. Carnell joined the firm in 2009 and focuses in the packaging, capital goods and multi-industry sectors. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Forcino has been with the company since 2007 and focuses on the execution of mergers and acquisitions and alternative capital markets transactions across multiple industries. Ms. Kieran joined the company in 2009 and is a member of the firm’s financial sponsors team. Prior to the company, she was a senior performance analyst at Fidelity Investments.
