GI Partners Purchases Office Building at Waltham's Reservoir Woods Office Park

GI Partners has purchased an office building at Waltham's Reservoir Woods office park for $72.7 million. The acquisition was made through TechCore, a $1 billion discretionary core real estate fund managed by GI Partners on behalf of the California Public Employees Retirement System. The three-story building includes 180,039 square feet of life science and office space with a below-ground parking garage. It is 100% leased. Designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, the property was developed in 2008 by the sellers, Marcus Davis Partners. Reservoir Woods contains more than 1.3 million square feet of office space on a 120-acre corporate campus that includes a cafe, fitness center and garage parking.

Travis Pearson Joins GI Partners as Managing Director

GI Partners announced that Travis Pearson has joined the firm as Managing Director. Mr. Pearson will work broadly across the GI portfolio to drive key operational initiatives and pursue new investment opportunities. Pearson joins GI after 15 years at Bain & Company, where he served leading clients in technology, media, telecommunications, consumer and retail, and private equity. Mr. Pearson held several leadership roles at Bain, most recently serving as the regional practice leader for Technology in the Americas.
