Consumer Cellular, Inc. Adds Wireless Home Phone Device to Product Lineup
Jun 10 13
Consumer Cellular, Inc. has added a Wireless Home Phone Device to the company's product portfolio. The Wireless Home Phone Device allows users to receive home phone service through Consumer Cellular's wireless network instead of through a traditional landline, reducing costs while increasing call mobility at home and on the road. The Wireless Home Phone Device is designed to work with a household's current home phone. Customers can assign their existing landline number to the device, and any incoming and outgoing calls will be carried over Consumer Cellular's wireless network. This eliminates the need for landline service while providing the flexibility and signal strength of Consumer Cellular's wireless phone service throughout the home. To use the Wireless Home Phone Device, customers need only an electrical source and a Consumer Cellular wireless signal. This allows customers the added flexibility to take the device with them and use it while traveling, whether they are in an RV or in a hotel room. It also has a battery that lasts for 3.5 hours when on a call, or up to 36 hours if not in use. The Wireless Home Base Device is available for $35, and service cost is $10 a month if added as an additional line to an existing Consumer Cellular account.
