SFR Reports Unaudited Earnings Results for the First Half Ended June 30, 2014

SFR reported unaudited earnings results for the first half ended June 30, 2014. For the period, the company’s revenues amounted to EUR 4,909 million, a 4.7% decrease on a comparable basis compared to the first half of 2013. The decline in revenues has decelerated: on a comparable basis, the decrease was 3.5% during the second quarter of 2014, versus 5.8% during the first quarter. Excluding non-recurring items, the company’s EBITDA amounted to EUR 1,302 million, an 11.4% decrease compared to the end of June 2013. Including non-recurring items, the company’s EBITDA amounted to EUR 1,190 million.

SFR opens test lab outside Paris

SFR has opened a new 7,800 sq mt integration and validation lab in the Velizy-Villacoublay suburb of Paris. It is used by SFR to test the latest technological evolutions and to run pilots.

SFR Launches Summer Roaming Packs

SFR has launched three new 7-day roaming packs for Formule Carree postpaid mobile customers. 'Pack Sejour Europe/DOM' offers 30 minutes of calls, 30 SMS and 500 MB of data for EUR 9 or 60 minutes, 60 SMS and 1 GB for EUR 15. It can be used in around 50 European destinations and overseas French territories. 'Pack Sejour Grandes Destinations' can be used in 19 popular destinations, including Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. There are two variants EUR 25 for 30 minutes, 30 SMS and 10 MB or EUR 35 for 60 minutes, 60 SMS and 20 MB. Finally, 'Pack Sejour USA' also comes in two versions: 30 minutes, 30 SMS and 300 MB for EUR 25 or 60 minutes, 60 SMS and 600 MB for EUR 35. SFR will also launch a EUR 5 one-day pass on July 1, 2014 for 500 MB mobile data in Europe and overseas French territories.
