Netpulse, Inc. announced an agreement with Sears Holdings to integrate its NetpulseOne digital fitness platform into the FitStudio by Sears web community. FitStudio by Sears is an innovative online community helping members lead a fit life by providing resources such as exercise programs, video workouts, and expert advice. NetpulseOne will enable FitStudio to deliver an enhanced customer experience by providing the ability to connect to fitness equipment, mobile apps and personal fitness devices as well allowing FitStudio members to set goals and participate in challenges and events. The NetpulseOne platform will provide FitStudio community members with new tools to track their fitness and nutrition with leading third-party apps and devices like FitBit, MapMyFitness, BodyMedia, and MyFitnessPal. Additionally, Netpulse's xID identity system is integrated in many treadmills and other fitness equipment so customers can easily sync and track fitness activity from their Sears-purchased fitness equipment as well as the equipment in their local fitness center.

MyFitnessPal Launches Partnerships With Johnson Health Tech and Netpulse, Inc

MyFitnessPal announced partnerships with top media and data platform for fitness equipment, Netpulse, Inc. and Johnson Health Tech and its commercial brand Matrix Fitness. These new partnerships demonstrate an increasing demand by consumers to simultaneously track their food intake and exercise data, creating a more holistic view of their personal health and fitness. By integrating with Netpulse, MyFitnessPal users now have the ability to sync their daily food diary and exercise log with its cloud-based exercise platform to receive engaging data from every workout on a Netpulse-powered machine. Netpulse has partnerships with eight of the commercial fitness equipment manufacturers, which accounts for over 75% of global fitness equipment sales to health clubs. MyFitnessPal has been integrated into NetpulseOne, Netpulse's new web platform, and will soon appear in machine consoles as well. MyFitnessPal's users will also benefit from activity information on Matrix Fitness cardio products. As the third fitness equipment manufacturer in the world and the company behind other brands including Vision Fitness, users will be able to link their MyFitnessPal account on Matrix's new 7xi series cardio equipment consoles for automatic syncing which will be commercially available in late second quarter.
