Following on the partnership announced in 2012 WISeKey and Qwant have launched a Joint Venture with the name WISeQwant.com associating WISekey's digital identity management, mobile apps and encryption with Qwant Search technologies. WISeQwant defines a new paradigm for personal data and content protection combined with encrypted technologies allowing Social Mobile searches to help monetize brand fans ecosystems. Qwant search algorithms map an individual's unique Social Graph across digital networks. When combined with WISeKey's WISeID, this technology will allow users to have accountable digital identification to interact in social media, fully aware of their complete digital identity footprint. The JV will focus on Sport as a first priority. The WISeID Qwant special edition app will be released this year offering a set of tools to provide secure and authenticated digital identification based social search. WISeQwant fan applications will use digital identities and social search to distribute official branded content to a certified community of fans who choose to receive targeted marketing. The first deployment of this new technology will be done with the FC Barcelona Connect app developed by WISekey and using this WISeQwant integrated technology.

WISeKey released WISePhone 2 at the Mobile World Congress with a Social Telecom Service as WISeKey has attained Telecommunication Services Provider status in Switzerland under OFCOM to deploy its mobile phone voice encryption solution. WISePhone 2 is released along with a new platform becoming the first Secure Social Telecom Provider for Social Communities on the Net allowing WISePhone 2 users to communicate among themselves as easy as with Social networks over 3G, 4G, EDGE or Wi-Fi using an Apple or Android Tablet or Smartphone devices. The WISePhone 2 voice encryption solution and products have been initially designed and deployed for large user groups in public and private organizations mainly concerned with the dangers of voice communication interception, acting against hacking and corporate espionage.

WISeKey will be launching the WISeID Cyber-Resilience edition for iOS at Davos to help Internet users strengthen the security and reliability of their mobile communications and transactions. The WISeID Cyber-Resilience edition can create an accountable identity from its personal data organizer, which securely stores personal data such as account username and passwords, credit card numbers and access PINs in a secure vault and cloud. WISeID can enhance the legitimacy of what to do and say online by providing accountable identities and protection from identity theft by safely managing passwords and social credentials in its encrypted vault. The vault can be unlocked only by using the user's Master Password and/or defined pattern, with additional face recognition authentication protection. WISeID conveniently keeps passwords in one place, generates hard-to-crack ones, and safely synchs data between computers and devices on multiple platforms using secure cloud storage.
