Amkai LLC announced the addition of Dan Edwards, Ken Salehi and Candy Stone as new Regional Vice Presidents of Sales, effective immediately. In these positions, they will be responsible for assisting existing company's partners and working to grow the company's presence and customer base in their assigned regions. Mr. Edwards has almost 40 years of sales and marketing experience. He was most recently Executive Vice President of Operations for Semper Vivo, an IT services provider. Prior to this position, Mr. Edwards held positions with USMD/Visionary Medical Systems, WinCare/MIT, MediMark Surgical and Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Salehi has 20 years of sales experience, including more than 10 years of experience in the lease/finance, electronic health records and practice management software industries. He previously held positions with a number of companies including Aprima Medical Software, Advanced Computer Concepts, e-MDs and NAAK. Ms. Stone brings 10 years of sales experience and 10 years of managerial experience to AmkaiSolutions. She previously served as a Regional Director for Source Medical. Ms. Stone has also worked as a Senior Territory Manager for Alliance Medical and as an Office Manager for Classic Building Company.

Amkai LLC appointment of Albert F. Lechner as its new Executive Vice President of Sales. In this position, Lechner will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and expanding sales team within AmkaiSolutions. Lechner joins AmkaiSolutions with more than 34 years of sales and management expertise in the health care space, in organizations both large and small. He most recently served as General Manager and VP of Sales at GE Healthcare ­ IT. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales for both Visionary Medical and USMD, and COO and Senior VP of Sales for the medical software development company WinCare.
