5 Bidders Reportedly Bid For Canberra

Mirion Technologies, Inc., Montagu Holdings Ltd., Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc., Danaher Corp. and Astorg Partners have submitted bids to acquire Canberra Industries, Inc. from Areva S.A., according to Les Echos. Areva spokesperson declined to comment on the report to Reuters. Areva expects some €300 million from the sale. Energy Equity Partners, L.P. has dropped out of the process to acquire Canberra.
