The deal is a first for Showcase and signals a commitment to enhance the customer experience at this iconic out-of-town shopping complex. Part of National Amusements Inc., Showcase operates theatres at 20 UK locations, including three Cinema de Lux venues. National Amusements Inc. operates more than 850 screens globally and has been an IMAX partner since 2001, with a total of five IMAX theatres in the US, Brazil and Argentina.
National Amusements Announces Management Promotions

National Amusements announced the promotions of Tad Jankowski to executive vice president, and Joe Mollo to senior vice president, information technologies and chief information officer, effective immediately. Hired in 1982 as a member of National Amusements legal department, Tad Jankowski was promoted to general counsel in 1987 and to vice president, legal, in 1993. In 2004, he was promoted to senior vice president. In his new role as executive vice president, in addition to continuing his duties as general counsel, Jankowski will be responsible for assisting in long-term strategic planning and overseeing the day-to-day affairs of National Amusements. Joe Mollo joined National Amusements in 1990 as manager, systems development, and was responsible for corporate software development. In 2000, Mollo was promoted to assistant vice president, management information systems, and then to vice president, information technologies in 2006. As senior vice president, information technologies, Mollo will continue to supervise datacenter operations worldwide, enterprise software development, information technology security and compliance. He will also be leading the company's agenda in integrating innovation and technology into all aspects of National Amusements' operations.
