Sociocast Networks LLC announced that Gokul Rajaram, Product Director of Ads at Facebook and former Google Adsense executive, will join Sociocast's advisory board. Gokul is the latest industry pioneer to join the startup Sociocast, which offers a Software-as-a-Service platform aimed at helping companies maximize the utilization of their Big Data sets. Gokul joins an already impressive lineup of scientific and business leaders on Sociocast's board, including distinguished Professor and Director of Northeastern University's Center for Network Science Dr. Albert-Laszlo Barabasi, venture investor Jerry Neumann, MediaMath founder Joe Zawadzki, and an early investor in Google Bobby Yazdani. Prior to Facebook, Gokul spearheaded the development of Google's product AdSense, while integrating Google's DoubleClick acquisition. Sociocast is next to the recently Yahoo-acquired Associated Content and Collective Media's Tumri on Gokul's roster of companies he has successfully advised through high-growth periods.
