Evidon, Inc. Key Developments

Core Audience Integrates with Evidon, Inc. to Offer Brands Increased Transparency and Data Security

Core Audience announced a first-of-its kind partnership with Evidon, Inc. that empowers brands to more effectively regulate, protect and monetize their audience data. The agreement, which integrates Evidon Encompass technology into Core Audience's platform, provides clients with powerful audience monitoring and data policing functionality. By combining Evidon Encompass with Core Audience's tag management solution, brands can now see and manage all tags and trackers that are pulling data from their web sites and ensure that valuable audience data is being shared only with authorized third parties. The partnership with Evidon supports its fundamental promise -- to help brands own their own audience data.

Evidon, Inc. Announces Commercial Solution for BVDW AdPlayer Platform

Evidon, Inc. announced that it has an operational integration with AdPlayer, an open-source technology that displays AdChoices privacy notice in advertisements across Germany, which launched officially in Berlin. The JavaScript-based AdPlayer is designed to help German businesses comply with the European Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising (OBA) by enabling them to give consumers transparency and control over how their information is used in behaviourally targeted ads. Evidon is working with the German Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW), whose members developed the AdPlayer program, on integrating the technology into the AdPlayer system. Evidon InForm recognizes ads served by any company that is AdPlayer compliant. When a user receives an ad, AdPlayer serves the AdChoices icon which, when clicked, renders a list of privacy information and links to more information about all parties involved in serving the ad and using/collecting OBA data. The integration of Evidon InForm(TM) will allow consumers to opt out of having their data used by any of the involved companies directly from that notice. Evidon InForm is the industry-standard method for delivering robust privacy notices to hundreds of millions of consumers each day, and for giving them control over tracking, in more than 40 languages globally. Evidon serves more than one billion ad notices in Germany and more than nine billion notices across Europe every month. The technology is recognised as a critical tool in achieving compliance with self-regulatory programmes in the EU and US, as well as with the recently implemented EU ePrivacy Directive. AdPlayer is designed to work with all ad-serving technologies and advertising formats. The open-source solution is designed to be as flexible as possible and offers a simple way for collecting and displaying privacy information with the creative. The DDOW (Deutscher Datenschutzrat Online-Werbung), the German Data Protection Council for Online Advertising, aims for AdPlayer to become an industry standard privacy technology.
