International Airlines Group Signs MOU with IAE International Aero Engines AG for V2500 Engines to Power 30 Airbus Aircraft

International Airlines Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with IAE International Aero Engines AG for V2500 engines. IAE will power 30 A320ceo aircraft for the IAG subsidiary, Vueling Airlines. These aircraft were part of an IAG order announced in August 2013. The IAE V2500 SelectOne engine, which entered into service in October 2008, places a strong emphasis on efficiency because of the incorporation of key technologies such as 3D aerodynamics and the latest in materials and cooling technology.

Saudigulf Airlines Selected the International Aero Engines V2500 Engine to Power Four A320ceo Aircraft

SaudiGulf Airlines has selected the International Aero Engines (IAE) V2500 engine to power four A320ceo aircraft and has also signed an eight-year V-Services(SM) maintenance service agreement with IAE. SaudiGulf is a new airline based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with headquarters in Dammam and is planning to commence services in 2015. To date, more than 6,000 V2500 engines have been delivered to nearly 200 customers around the world.

VivaAerobus Selects PurePower(R) and V2500 Engines in an Order for Airbus Aircraft

VivaAerobus has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power its order of 40 Airbus A320neo aircraft, plus 40 option. VivaAerobus also selected the IAE International Aero Engines AG V2500 engine to power its order for 12 A320ceo aircraft. The PurePower engine deal includes a 20-year PureSolution(SM) maintenance service agreement. The V2500 engine deal includes a 12-year V-Services(SM) maintenance service agreement.
