Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. and Vantos Inc. announced that Deluxe will offer advanced Intellectual Property (IP) security services and solutions powered by Vantos Inc.'s Investigation Lifecycle Management product and platform. With the launch of these new hosted services, Deluxe will be delivering the first-of-its kind advanced IP security services and solutions to media, entertainment and gaming organizations worldwide. With VANTOS V-Flex at the core, Deluxe will enable studios to easily and quickly automate the tedious and time-consuming pre and post-production audits on all of the contributing vendors and businesses used during the course of film production.

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Inc. has agreed to enter into a marketing and technology arrangement with Technicolor Business Group and will provide their customers with the necessary post production and film printing services to deliver Technicolor's 3D solution. Kodak and FUJIFILM have also announced support of the Technicolor 3D solution and will be working with Technicolor and Deluxe to ensure their film stocks are delivering the highest quality possible for the Technicolor 3D experience.

Redbox won a small victory in its efforts to do more business when a district court in Delaware said it has denied Universal Studios Home Entertainment's motion to dismiss the antitrust lawsuit. The suit stems from Universal demanding that new releases be kept out of $1-per-night Redbox kiosks for 45 days after they go on sale. The effort, on the part of movie studios, is to produce more movie sales. Last week, Redbox said it sued Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. in Delaware Federal Court, challenging the movie studio's decision to keep its DVDs out of Redbox kiosks for at least 30 days after a DVD's public release. Redbox claims that the 30-day 'blackout' period is unenforceable.
