Aug 28 14
NSF Sustainability, the division of NSF International is launching to the North America marketplace NSF Performance Plus, a sustainability reporting software tool. To demonstrate the power of this new reporting tool, NSF Sustainability is providing a no-charge webinar on Tuesday, September 9, 2014. An alternative to manual spreadsheet entry, the new NSF Performance Plus sustainability reporting tool helps organizations organize and manage sustainability data to meet supplier expectations, compliance, management system or product certification requirements, and both internal or external data reporting needs. 86% of the U.S.'s revenue-generating companies produced sustainability reports in 2013,1 reflecting the demand to gather and report this information. A Corporate Citizenship report also identified internal reporting as the most important audience for sustainability reporting. NSF Performance Plus improves an organization's access to usable sustainability information via automated data input capabilities and customizable analysis tools. For example, companies can: Input data through automated file uploads and predefined questionnaires formatted for general reporting or for NSF sustainability standards reporting. Analyze data with unit conversion and currency exchange rate updates, calculation methodologies and baseline adjustment. Visualize data using a dashboard format with a wide variety of chart types and interactive analytics and drilldowns. Report data with user-defined reports, centralized dashboard management, a full audit trail and fast report creation and sharing. NSF Sustainability product certification customers will find questionnaires in NSF Performance Plus preformatted to meet the reporting requirements for NSF certification to sustainability standards and protocols such as: NSF/ANSI 342: Sustainability Assessment for Wallcovering Products, NSC 373 Sustainability Assessment for Natural Dimension Stone, NSF 416: Sustainability Assessment of Water Treatment Chemicals, NSF 375: Sustainability Assessment for Water Treatment Products and level certification: ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard.
