The Body Shop International plc will make its debut in Sears department stores throughout Puerto Rico starting October 19, 2012. The Body Shop will launch four shop-in-shop stores within Sears whose position as a premier beauty retailer in Puerto Rico made it the ideal partner for this venture. The first four locations will open in Plaza las Americas, Mayaguez, Ponce and Hatillo. The Body Shop has always had a commitment to living its values and helping communities. L'Oreal SA plans to sell The Body Shop International plc, reports The Daily Mail, according to Mark Constantine, Founder of Lush. Mark Constantine said that the Body Shop no longer fits L'Oreal's profit profile and strategy.

The Body Shop International plc introduced new shower gels. The new products include Amazonian and Wild Lily shower gel, Atlas Mountain Rose shower gel, Indian Night Jasmine shower gel and Japanese Cherry Blossom shower gel.
