Transport for London Selects Amey and Keolis to Operate Docklands Light Railway

Transport for London has selected the consortium comprising Amey, a subsidiary of Ferrovial Services, and Keolis to operate and maintain Docklands Light Railway in London for six and a half years. The contract is worth £700 million (around €879 million). Amey has a 30% stake in the consortium. Amey and Keolis will manage train and passenger services throughout the network, and maintain 34 kilometres of infrastructure, 45 stations, 149 wagons and other rolling stock. The contract runs from December 2014 to 2021, with the possibility of an extension.

Amey plc Wins GBP 35 Million Metering Contract from npower

Amey plc has secured a new metering contract with npower worth GBP 35 million over the next five years. The win will see Amey providing both gas and electricity metering installation and maintenance services for npower across the North West of England, Wales and Scotland. Amey began providing electricity metering services for npower in the North West in 1996. This contract award further increases Amey's geographical coverage and will include new smart metering installations.

Amey plc Appoints Dave Spencer as Managing Director of its Consultancy Business

Amey plc has appointed Dave Spencer as managing director of its consultancy business. Dave is a Chartered civil engineer and joins Amey from Capita where, as an Executive Director, he spent over a decade leading and growing a number of the company's businesses including their infrastructure division. Dave will report to Andy Milner as part of his Consulting, Rail and Strategic Highways executive team.
