Grup Feroviar Român S.A. have been granted access to detailed financial information for the preparation of final bids.

Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF) is one of the three groups interested in acquiring Trainose S.A., according to some sources close to the negotiations. The sources said that the other two groups are Grampet SA, Inc. and GEK TERNA Holdings, Real Estate, Construction S.A. (ATSE:GEKTERNA), in partnership with Russian Railways. The Greek privatization agency HRDAF has confirmed that three groups are in the race, without specifying their identity. The agency hopes to get €200 million from the sale.
