SumTotal Systems, LLC announced that it has partnered with AuraTech Pte Ltd, Sunlink and Beijing E-Cell Software to deliver SumTotal’s Talent Expansion® applications in the Asia-Pacific region. AuraTech, Sunlink and Beijing E-Cell Software will strengthen SumTotal’s presence in the Asia Pacific region by enabling the company to tap into diverse segments, including government, corporate, education, defense and technology. AuraTech, a Singapore-based reseller focuses on e-learning and talent management solutions. Sunlink, located in Hong Kong, offers IT consulting, network architecture and system infrastructure services. Beijing E-Cell Software is an enterprise software company with more than 10 years of experience in the e-learning industry in China. SumTotal’s partners will help the company meet the growing global demand for HR solutions, which research firm IDC estimates will reach $15.4 billion in Asia Pacific in the next four years. AuraTech, Sunlink and Beijing E-Cell Software will now offer their customers one of the large integrated HR solutions through SumTotal’s learning and talent applications. These organizations have in-depth knowledge of the region and will act as a local resource that has both product expertise and can offer support in the customer’s native language.

SumTotal Systems, LLC Appoints Hardeep Gulati as Chief Executive Officer

SumTotal Systems, LLC announced that Hardeep Gulati, previously SumTotal's chief operating officer, has been appointed chief executive officer of the company. As CEO, Mr. Gulati will lead a growth plan focused on accelerating the adoption of SumTotal's software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Talent Expansion(TM) solutions, which improve employee engagement and performance by proactively delivering relevant content and interactions when and where employees need them. Mr. Gulati joined SumTotal in 2011 as executive vice president of global products and customer service after almost a decade at Oracle, where he held several leadership positions, most recently as vice president of product strategy. Since joining SumTotal, Mr. Gulati has played a key leadership role in the deployment of numerous product development and customer satisfaction initiatives, most recently overseeing the launch of SumTotal's groundbreaking human capital management and Talent Expansion platform, elixHR(TM). Previous CEO, John Borgerding, who led the successful expansion of SumTotal and the integration of its acquired assets, will join Websense, a recently acquired Vista company. As president and COO, Mr. Borgerding will help lead the security software company's transformation. He will continue to be involved in SumTotal's operations through the end of January to assist in the transition and will remain a member of SumTotal's Board.

SumTotal Talent Expansion Applications Enable High-Performance Organization at City of Danville

SumTotal Systems, LLC, announced that the City of Danville, Va., has selected SumTotal Talent: Compensation and SumTotal Workforce Analytics and Planning cloud-based solutions to help the organization identify, develop, reward and retain high-performing employees and deliver value to its residents. The city has been using the SumTotal Learn solution since 2011 and added performance management last year. According to Organizational Development Consultant, Eddy Parham, the addition of SumTotal's compensation and analytics solutions will enable the creation of a pay-for-performance culture that aligns with the city council's vision for the community.
