Reuters Founders Share Company Ltd. announced appointment of Mr. Uffe Ellemann-Jensen and replacement of Pehr Gyllenhammar from its Board as the Chairman of the Board, effective January 1, 2013. Mr. Ellemann-Jensen is a non-executive director of several Danish and international companies and was a member of the Danish Parliament from 1977 to 2001. He served as Denmark's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1982-1993. He was Editor-in-Chief of the business daily Borsen from 1975 to 1976, a television commentator on economic and political affairs and in 1969 earned a Masters degree in Economics from Copenhagen University while working as a journalist, then business editor, for the daily Berlingske Aftenavis.
