350Green, LLC Announces First Public Retail Fast Charging Station in State of California

350Green, LLC announced the first public retail fast charging station in the State of California. The fast charger is located at the Stanford Shopping Center, part of Simon Property Group. The company also announced plans to install 24 additional public fast chargers at multiple high-traffic retail locations throughout the Bay Area, for a total of 25 stations. A fast charger can fully charge an electric car in under 30 minutes. Starting from April 4, 2012, shoppers at the Stanford Shopping Center will be able to choose between using the new fast charger (located in the Lower Level Parking deck off Quarry Road, between Macy's and Bloomingdale's) or one of the existing 350Green Level 2 chargers (located in the Lower Level Parking Deck off Orchard Lane between Macy's and Bloomingdale's).

350Green, LLC announced that it has been awarded a contract for electrical charging stations by The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). The agreement will lower the costs and streamline the purchase and contracting process for government entities planning EV charging projects across the country. The new agreement with 350Green includes electrical charging equipment, installation and network services provided at significant discounts and savings to eligible public agency customers.

350Green announced that Jeannie Lam has joined its executive team as Vice President, Marketing. Lam is a veteran of the automotive business in general and Electric Vehicles in particular, having spent nearly a decade at Nissan where most recently she led the company's cross-divisional launch of the Nissan all-electric LEAF. Lam will be responsible for overseeing all functions of marketing communications and electric car dealer engagement, including advertising, consumer, corporate and internal communications, partnerships, promotions and sponsorships, and public relations. Most recently as chief marketing manager for Nissan Canada, Lam led the company to a successful launch of the Nissan LEAF, as she was head of the company-wide electric vehicle cross-functional team. In addition to the LEAF, Lam was also responsible for the sales and profitability of four other vehicle portfolios - the Juke, Cube, Rogue and Murano.
