Eccentex Corporation Key Developments
Eccentex Corporation announced AppLibrary, a cloud-based marketplace to showcase pre-built knowledge worker application solutions. Any app built on Eccentex's AppBase or AppTemplate can be stored on AppLibrary to provide a one-stop-shop for business and IT leaders looking to satisfy specific unstructured process or dynamic case management challenges in the fastest, easiest way possible. The Eccentex partner community has leveraged the power of AppBase to solve specific business problems such as fraud investigation, work order processing, incident management, and dozens of others. AppLibrary showcases these apps by providing the ability to search for proven software-as-a-service technology solutions quickly. AppLibrary enables partners to deliver dynamic case management apps to market significantly quicker than its competitors and customers to find, evaluate and deploy specific solutions as rapidly and easily.
Eccentex Corporation announced the launch of AppBase 5.0, an improved cloud-based platform that includes advanced creation tools and AppTemplates for quick delivery of case management systems. The company is redefining the fundamental processes and user interfaces of the modern knowledge worker. Focusing on the business analyst, AppBase 5.0 is a hi-level cloud-based platform that allows for quick assembly of case management applications with less coding. Instead, this advanced software offers use of Widgets and Wizards, with a new graphical business process designer and the ability to create pages at any complexity without rules. It's fully equipped with three new templates (Incident, Investigation and Service Request) that enable even quicker delivery of case management application with supported structure, unstructured, and unpredictable processes. AppBase 5.0 features AppTemplates, which offer three templates (Incident, Investigation and Service Request), that are built on top of the platform for a simpler way to create and modify dynamic case management application by customers. Each template has been engineered to be completely customizable to meet each detailed need of the user. Advanced and improved tools include: new business process designer, new page builder, new rule generator, and a new page filter. As the only true case management platform-as-a-service (PaaS) built for the convenience of the business analyst to handle all updates and changes, AppBase 5.0 provides drag and drop tools, and sample case types to simplify building and designing your own case. Simplifying the delivery solution entails providing Wizards that enable the analyst to execute lower level modifications, allows for DLL extensions and rules that are compatible for upload, and delivers all the features on a convenient cloud-based PaaS solution. As part of the company's sales strategy, AppBase 5.0 will soon be available to third-party developers to rapidly develop and implement customized DCM applications in a production environment.
Eccentex Corporation announced a teaming agreement with Capgemini America, Inc. to introduce a Dynamic Case Management (DCM) solution tailored to the growing energy and utilities market. This collaboration will help companies address the most significant challenges in the energy and utility space, including managing risk, compliance and exceptions driven from the introduction of new technology, like smart meters and smart grids, as well as the regulatory requirements that come with new offerings. It is critical for these energy and utility organizations to be able to handle the increased data flow and turn this data into business intelligence, which involves a tremendous amount of exception processing and risk mitigation to ensure customers, grids, pipelines, and other components are maintained and managed effectively. Capgemini and Eccentex will offer a software solution for utilities to manage complex exceptions and related processes while reducing inefficiencies, improving overall system satisfaction, delivering solutions more quickly and easily, and reducing risk. Through this agreement, Capgemini clients will be able to seamlessly incorporate Capgemini technology with the AppBase platform to provide a customizable solution to best meet individual and unique case management needs. Eccentex has deployed its AppBase platform to help in the streamlining of data collection and archives, which in turn reduces the risk of compromising situations due to incomplete information.
