An international investor has expressed interest in acquiring upto 66% stake in Societa’ Di Gestione Aeroporto Di Cuneo-Levaldigi SpA (Levaldigi airport). According to La Stampa, a Russian investor reportedly having economic interest in the region could acquire the stake with an investment of around €2 million via a Turkey-based company. The non-disclosure of the investor's identity has been set as a condition for the future talks, La Stampa quoted Ferruccio Dardanello, President of Unioncamere and Cuneo Chamber of Commerce, as saying. According to the report, the investor has requested a 20-year concession in exchange for future investments in the airport. Also, Cuneo Chamber of Commerce holds 19.8% stake in airport and Municipality of Cuneo controls a 6% stake.
