Spainish Government To Sell Holding In Hispasat

Spainish Government is seeking to sell its holding in Hispasat, S.A. to Abertis Telecom S.A. The state owns a 25% stake in Hispasat through The Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial with 16.42%, Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) with 7.41% and CDTI holding 1.85%. Ramon Aguirre, President of SEPI said that Now, there is conformity within the Council of Ministers to undertake a process of divestment and start talks to divest in Hispasat.

Abertis Telecom S.A. launched its latest mobile multi-screen technology solutions. The company telecom will deploy the network infrastructure used to carry out demonstrations of DMB Mobile TV and DAB and DAB+ digital radio. The new features to be launched by the company include multi-screen cloud solutions, Connected TV and mobile applications aimed at Smart Cities. The company will coordinate more than 50 frequencies of the mobile operators carrying out demonstrations and will be responsible for broadcasting the official event channel, MWC Live, throughout Catalonia.

Abertis Reportedly Eyes Government's Stake In Hispasat

Abertis Telecom S.A. is seeking to purchase 25.69% stake owned by the Spanish government in Hispasat, S.A. for some €240 million, El Mundo reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
