Carnival Group International Holdings Limited Enters Joint Venture Agreement with E United Group

Carnival Group International Holdings Limited announced that on 3 July 2014, the company entered into a non-legally binding Letter of Intent with E United Group, pursuant to which the Company and E United Group will jointly conduct development and investment in the business of integrated theme park, hotel and shopping mall facilities in Taiwan and China in various forms, such as equity participation, joint ventures and cooperation. The company and E United Group intended to negotiate and enter into formal agreement to establish the JV Company in Hong Kong for the purpose of active participation in the development of integrated theme park, hotel and shopping mall facilities in different cities and provinces in China (including Changping in Beijing, Jinshan in Shanghai, Guangzhou in Guangdong Province and Guilin in Guangxi Province) and the entire equity interests therein will be owned by the Company and E United Group as to 60% and 40% respectively. It is expected that the registered capital of the JV Company will be HKD 10,000,000 which shall be payable by the Company and E United Group in proportion to their respective shareholding in the joint venture company.

Lin Yi-shou, Founder of E United Group reportedly told a government delegation that he was willing to buy the Sinon Bulls from Sinon Corporation, according to reports. Sports Affairs Council Minister Tai Shia-ling met Lin and told reporters the tycoon had said he was ready to buy the Bulls. The details would still have to be worked out at a meeting on December 11, 2012.
