TeleCommunication Systems Inc. Partners with Cellcrypt to Provide Cloud Based Secure Mobile Communications Solution

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. and Cellcrypt announced a partnership to deliver secure mobile communication solutions for enterprise and government customers. Operating over data-enabled networks, the TCS and Cellcrypt solution provides government certified secure voice call and messaging encryption for smartphones. As part of its Secure the Edge solution, TCS is including Cellcrypt's FIPS 140-2 certified mobile voice and messaging encryption.

Cellcrypt Ltd. Launches Cellcrypt Conferencing(TM), the Company's New Secure Conference Calling Product

Cellcrypt Ltd. announced the launch of Cellcrypt Conferencing(TM), the company's new secure conference calling product. Cellcrypt Conferencing is a flexible, on-site, software-based product for government and enterprise markets, which enables improved security for conference call organizers and participants. Cellcrypt Conferencing increases security for users through a 3-step risk-reduction process to ensure that only authorized callers are able to enter a conference. Participants in each call are invited from a pre-defined list of contacts, and then registered as a whitelisted (approved) group on a per-call basis. When joining the call, users are triple-authenticated through a participant PIN, conference code, and inbound phone number identification. A web-based management console offers the organizer real-time authority over all active calls and participants. This includes the ability to remove or mute callers, create or delete users, and change passwords; it also provides a tool for capacity management, call history review, and system usage analysis. For the high level of security, participants may encrypt their connection to a Cellcrypt Conferencing bridge by using Cellcrypt Mobile(TM) for smartphones and tablets, or by using a secure voice channel to internal PBX systems with Cellcrypt Enterprise Gateway(TM), both available from Cellcrypt separately. For maximum flexibility, Cellcrypt Conferencing can support unencrypted, encrypted, or a mix of both types of participants. This feature allows organizations to create trusted and secure conference call meetings, with the ability to include "in the clear" callers when necessary and in accordance with organizational security policies.

Cellcrypt Ltd. Receives CESG CAPS Approval

Cellcrypt Ltd. announced that Cellcrypt Mobile Baseline(TM) for BlackBerry(R) has received CESG CAPS approval. Cellcrypt Mobile Baseline(TM) for BlackBerry is certified at RESTRICTED/BASELINE grade that allows UK Government departments to meet their Baseline security needs. CAPS (CESG Assisted Products Service) is a UK Cryptographic Evaluation Service run by CESG, the UK Government's National Technical Authority for Information Assurance which provides policy and assistance on the security of communications and electronic data for central government departments and agencies, and the Armed Forces. CESG also helps protects the vital interests of the UK's wider public sector, including law enforcement and local government, as well as the essential services that form the UK's Critical National Infrastructure. Cellcrypt Mobile Baseline(TM) is a smartphone software application that provides end-to-end voice call encryption on commercially available off-the-shelf BlackBerry smartphones for UK Government. It is an easy-to-use software application that makes secure calling as easy as making a normal mobile phone call and uses the IP data channel of mobile (2G, 3G, and 4G) networks. Cellcrypt Mobile Baseline(TM) comprises a handset application and a back-end infrastructure. The BlackBerry smartphones have to be part of an IL3 deployment of the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution, also approved by CESG and configured as per the CESG Security Procedures.
