Zapoint, Inc. Launches Next Generation of SkillsMapper

Zapoint, Inc. launched the next generation of SkillsMapper and will showcase the technology at the 15th Annual Corporate Learning Week (CLN Week), now underway at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Orlando, Florida. This latest innovation of SkillsMapper combines advanced career pathing technology with world-class learning and assessment content from Kelley Executive Partners, the executive education arm of The Kelley School of Business, the highly ranked business school of Indiana University. Demonstrations will be available at the Zapoint booth (number 6) as well as the Kelley Executive Partners booth (number 5). Early this year, Kelley and Zapoint worked with CareerBuilder to create the Moneyball service that CareerBuilder launched this past June. After CareerBuilder brought them together, Kelley and Zapoint decided to pursue an additional partnership to meet corporate requirements for management training. The alliance extends SkillsMapper's platform by delivering the industry's first comprehensive career management and learning tool to organizations looking to strengthen the skills and experiences of their workforce, increase engagement and retention, and gain a competitive advantage within their market place.
Zapoint Announces Strategic Alliance with Indiana University's Kelly School of Business

Zapoint, Inc. announced plans to supercharge its SkillsMapper solution with the faculty content of Kelley Executive Partners, the executive education arm of the Kelley School of Business, a business school of Indiana University. The joint efforts of both organizations will provide companies with a cost-efficient and accessible means of educating their workforce. Kelley's learning and assessment content combined with Zapoint's advanced career pathing technology will enable companies to customize employees' training courses while aligning with strategic organizational needs and priorities. The new product version will offer pre-loaded, bite-sized Master's level training courses, broken into five different disciplines - Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain and HR Management. Employees will have a chance to take courses at their own pace to improve their skills in key areas. As employees complete learning tracks and levels, they will be awarded certificates and their profiles within SkillsMapper will be updated to reflect the skills they have developed and strengthened. Customized industry content is also available to companies who use the system.

Zapoint, Inc. announced enhancements to its SkillsMapper career management application. Career Paths will enable organizations to incorporate competency frameworks and assessment criteria directly into job roles and job family groups in SkillsMapper. Similar to the external recruiting approach, Career Paths' added functionality provides internal recruiting capabilities to organizations by allowing them to define and communicate what human capital their company needs in order to sustain their competitive advantage. As a result, organizations will have access to the tools they need to promote transparency, fuel employee engagement and help managers develop and retain highly skilled performers. The current SkillsMapper Career Paths application empowers employees to take ownership of their future by giving them access to tools that help them analyze and plan their career path. With these new features, employees can design career paths to job roles of interest, while enabling management to incorporate the organization's competency frameworks and assessment criteria when creating job roles and job family groups. Human Resource will also be able to create career paths that provide employees a clear view of opportunities available to them and help them identify the skills and experience required to progress inside the organization. This in turn will enable organizations to align their career development process with critical and strategic business needs.
