Machinima Names Chad E. Gutstein as CEO

Machinima announced that Chad E. Gutstein, will become Machinima's new Chief Executive Officer, reporting to Machinima's Board of Directors. Gutstein brings to Machinima nearly two decades of experience interweaving strategic management across both traditional and entrepreneurial organizations. Throughout his career, Chad has served in high-performing leadership roles within television, digital and financial landscapes. The announcement was made by Machinima's Co-Founder and Chairman, Allen DeBevoise. As Machinima's new CEO, Gutstein will lead the charge in evolving Machinima's network and brand strategy. He will oversee all aspects of the business, including programming, sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, product development, and diversification of distribution and revenue. Prior to Machinima, Gutstein served as Chief Operating Officer of Ovation.
Machinima Closes Financing Led by Warner Bros

Machinima closed an $18 million financing led by Time Warner Inc.'s Warner Bros. Entertainment. Existing investors MK Capital, Redpoint Ventures and Google Inc.'s Google Capital also participated in the funding round, the YouTube network confirmed in a March 10 news release.
