Microsoft Selects 911 Enable for Lync Online Dedicated

911 Enable was chosen by Microsoft Corporation to provide Enhanced 911 (E911) services in Lync Online Dedicated. As part of their trusted relationship, Microsoft will refer clients to 911 Enable to help meet their E911 requirements. By working with 911 Enable, Lync Online Dedicated customers can now fully comply with these legislative E911 requirements. Designed with Next Generation 911 (NG911) functionality, 911 Enable's solutions natively interoperate with Lync to route 911 calls over IP data networks, track endpoints, and deliver a caller's precise location information and callback number to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in their area.

MyAssist Selects 911 Enable as E911 Partner

911 Enable announced a new partnership to provide MyAssist with quick and efficient E911 call routing services. In the event of an emergency, Telematics Service Providers (TSPs) like MyAssist must be able to connect their subscribers to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the caller's geographic area. However, this can be challenging because MyAssist's Telephone Concierge Specialists (TCS) may be located in a different region than a calling subscriber, and may not have the necessary information available to connect a subscriber in crisis to their local PSAP. 911 Enable helps TSPs solve this challenge with its hosted PSAP Link service. PSAP Link seamlessly integrates with MyAssist's proprietary technology to facilitate the transfer of 911 calls and location information to the appropriate PSAP with the click of a button, reducing emergency response times and improving subscriber safety.
