CaroTrans announced expansion of its LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) services between the U.S. and France with a new direct, weekly New York - Marseilles service. This development is in direct response to customer demand and features reduced delivery costs and transit times to nearby major markets, such as Lyon, Nice and Toulouse. Online track and trace visibility via the CaroTrans website is available to customers to effectively manage end-to-end shipment delivery. This new CaroTrans Central and Southern France service strengthens the NVO's comprehensive, U.S.-France service network which features service between 5 U.S. gateways and Le Havre. CaroTrans established its dedicated Le Havre branch office and team in 2012 to support its European and overall, global network. CaroTrans has a longstanding 30 year history servicing France. CaroTrans Launches Direct Le Havre to Houston LCL Export Service

CaroTrans announced a new, weekly LCL export service from Le Havre, France to Houston which will commence April 5th. This direct service shortens shipping time by 5 to 11 days for freight moving from France to the U.S. Gulf region including: Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, El Paso, Laredo Austin, New Orleans, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, as well as Los Angeles on the West Coast. The Le Havre departure point eliminates the congestion, delays and additional handling associated with routing via Antwerp and Rotterdam.
CaroTrans and Molax Line Team Up in the Transpacific - Enrich Ocean Services Between the U.S. and Northern Asia

CaroTrans announced a new cooperation with MOLAX LINE which will create a stronger, more robust LCL service network in the transpacific trade. The CaroTrans-MOLAX alliance will offer secure, local service for import and export cargo moving between the U.S. and Northern Asia. CaroTrans has an extensive North American network of 14 branch offices and 24 CFS (container freight stations). In Busan, MOLAX owns and operates a 380,000 sq. foot warehouse and will have a second warehouse of 360,000 sq. feet completed mid-2014. The comprehensive CaroTrans-MOLAX service network includes direct export services from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York and Charleston to Busan. On-forwarding via Busan further extends coverage to North China, a wide-range of west coast ports in Japan, as well as Vladivostok, Russia. Their import network consists of an array of direct, weekly services from South Korea to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Seattle and Miami. From these gateways, CaroTrans offers express IPI (interior point intermodal) connections to 70 locations throughout the U.S.
