Ringdale, Inc. Announces a Line of Self-Contained Retrofit LED Light Assemblies
Dec 11 13
Ringdale, Inc. announced a line of self-contained retrofit LED light assemblies (light engines) for replacing high wattage bulbs and ballasts for acorn style and decorative light assemblies. The long lasting ActiveLED Retrofits are an innovative LED Light Engine designed to easily replace the inefficient, high-wattage light bulb and ballast assembly in most fixtures, providing energy savings of 50-80%—a 32-watt ActiveLED Acorn Retrofit replaces a 150-watt metal halide bulb and offers a warranted lifespan of 10-years with a 'no light loss' guaranty. Existing Acorn and decorative luminaries can be retrofitted with the low-wattage ActiveLED light and still have the same "old town" or aesthetic characteristics. The only noticeable difference in its outward appearance is a better quality of light, which helps to improve safety. This is ideal for municipalities, universities and colleges wishing to retain vintage style lamplights for roadways, sidewalks and public spaces in historical and residential neighborhoods. The ActiveLED Retrofit line currently features seven different fixture families, each available in countless configurations. The fixtures align with the market's most commonly replaced luminaries: the Philips Gardco round parking lot, classic "Town and Country", most Acorn styles including Lumec, Pace Canlet Vapor Proof, Candela, and Classic Wellesley for King Luminaries. Ringdale also offers custom engineering to design retrofits for special projects such as antique or decorative fixtures. To achieve the desired ambience, customers can specify light direction and color temperatures ranging from 2700K-5000K. Ringdale's patented LED technology also ensures a long life span of min. 90,000 hours (24/7 is 8,760 hours per year), improving the bottom line when it comes to maintenance and operational costs. The significantly reduced maintenance is the most compelling argument for the retrofit apart from the significant direct cost savings due to the much lower energy use.
Ringdale, Inc. Introduces LightSpace Building Automation and Energy Management Solution
Feb 13 13
Ringdale, Inc. announced the availability of LightSpace(R) Building Automation and Energy Management, smart technology that facilitates the control of a building's light space and energy use. LightSpace is an ideal solution for commercial and government buildings to tailor lighting conditions and realize increased energy efficiencies through the ability to control, connect, and manage ActiveLED lighting and conventional systems. The scalable system design of the LightSpace Building Automation and Energy Management System features a controller, server, and manager in addition to modules required to support the management of Ringdale ActiveLED lighting systems, conventional lighting fixtures, and other enhanced data stream capable devices. LightSpace can be used in a single hotel room, a warehouse, to a multi-level office complex. Through a number of advanced platforms, LightSpace can transform typical lighting controls into a fully integrated system, allowing seamless access and management of all lighting functions. LSM: LightSpace Manager - the intelligent device that combines the light switch, dimmer and occupancy- or ambient-light sensors on a fixture-by-fixture basis or across a lighting network. LSS: LightSpace Server - an online administrative central management system overseeing rules, access, notifications and reporting. LSC: LightSpace Controller - for enhanced network control of groups, the network hub communicates with the fixtures, receive instructions, as well as the monitoring of connected fixtures and devices. BMS: LightSpace Building Management System (BMS) Adapter - ActiveLED fixtures from Ringdale naturally fit within the LightSpace platform. To control third-party BMS systems for conventional fixtures, LightSpace BMS is compatible with third-party BMS systems and can take control of fixtures throughout the building for unified control and management.
