GameFly, Inc. announced that its first publishing venture in mobile games is available for download in Apple's App Store. GameFly Games is publishing Writer Rumble(TM), a word fighting game that lets user play as legendary literary greats while honing users spelling skills in battling enemies in single player, or taking down foes in multiplayer games. User can play against users friends in local Bluetooth matches, online play from users friends list, or via unique split screen games on the same iPad, or challenge random opponents online via Quick Match. This 2011 PAX 10 selected game is available for the iOS now for $0.99, and will be available in early 2013 for Android users. A variety of downloadable content packs are also planned for 2013.

The new deal will help grow GameFly's audience and revenue by tapping Future's established network of loyal gaming fans through both print and digital outlets, and will further GameFly's ability to offer promotions for mobile titles that can be downloaded directly from GameFly onto iOS and Android devices. Simultaneously, this partnership will advance Future's charge into the digital space by delivering an audience of over 10.8 million unique visitors, while expanding its GamesRadar network. GameFly, Inc. has launched the public beta for its new one-stop shop PC client. Available to all gamers for free, the PC client features up-to-the-minute news and vibrant games pages with HD videos and screenshots. In addition to the ability to manage one's GameQ, all GameFly members have access to hundreds of PC games they can play anytime, anywhere. The Unlimited PC Play library will continue to grow with more core, casual, classic and independent games that gamers can download onto any of their PCs to play for no additional cost as long as they are active GameFly subscribers. The company will also begin selling PC games at GameFly.com, and on their leading video game mobile App for iOS and Android. There will be over 1,500 Windows/Mac games for sale, in addition to used console games and new console and PC releases for pre-order.
