The%20shareholders%20of%20AstraZeneca%20plc%20%28LSE%3AAZN%29%20authorized%20a%20share%20repurchase%20program%20at%20its%20Annual%20General%20Meeting%20on%20April%2025%2C%202013.%20Under%20the%20program%2C%20AstraZeneca%20will%20repurchase%20up%20to%20124%2C813%2C124%20shares%2C%20representing%2010%25%20of%20its%20issued%20capital.%20The%20minimum%20price%20%28exclusive%20of%20expenses%29%20which%20may%20be%20paid%20for%20each%20ordinary%20share%20is%20%240.25.%20The%20maximum%20price%20%28exclusive%20of%20expenses%29%20which%20may%20be%20paid%20for%20each%20ordinary%20share%20is%20the%20higher%20of%20either%20an%20amount%20equal%20to%20105%25%20of%20the%20average%20of%20the%20middle%20market%20quotations%20for%20an%20ordinary%20share%20of%20the%20company%20as%20derived%20from%20the%20London%20Stock%20Exchange%20Daily%20Official%20List%20for%20the%20five%20business%20days%20immediately%20preceding%20the%20day%20on%20which%20the%20ordinary%20share%20is%20contracted%20to%20be%20purchased%20and%20an%20amount%20equal%20to%20the%20higher%20of%20the%20price%20of%20the%20last%20independent%20trade%20of%20an%20ordinary%20share%20and%20the%20highest%20current%20independent%20bid%20for%20an%20ordinary%20share%20as%20derived%20from%20the%20London%20Stock%20Exchange%20Trading%20System.%20The%20shares%20will%20be%20repurchased%20on%20the%20open%20market.%20The%20shares%20repurchased%20will%20either%20be%20cancelled%20or%20will%20be%20held%20in%20treasury.%20The%20company%20is%20hereby%20unconditionally%20and%20generally%20authorized%20to%20make%20market%20purchases%20within%20the%20meaning%20of%20section%20693%284%29%20of%20the%20Companies%20Act%202006.%20The%20program%20will%20expire%20at%20the%20earliest%20of%20the%20conclusion%20of%20the%20next%20Annual%20General%20Meeting%20or%20on%20July%2025%2C%202014.%20As%20of%20February%2025%2C%202013%2C%20the%20company%20had%201%2C248%2C131%2C246%20ordinary%20shares%20in%20issue.
