The%20Board%20of%20Directors%20of%20Oconee%20Federal%20Financial%20Corp.%20%28NasdaqCM%3AOFED%29%20authorized%20a%20share%20repurchase%20program%20on%20March%2015%2C%202013.%20Under%20the%20program%2C%20the%20company%20will%20repurchase%20up%20to%20175%2C000%20shares.%20The%20shares%20to%20be%20repurchased%20represents%20approximately%209%25%20of%20the%20company%u2019s%20issued%20and%20outstanding%20shares%2C%20excluding%20shares%20that%20Oconee%20Federal%2C%20MHC%20currently%20holds.%20The%20program%20may%20be%20carried%20out%20through%20open-market%20purchases%2C%20block%20trades%2C%20negotiated%20private%20transactions%20and%20pursuant%20to%20a%20trading%20plan%20that%20will%20be%20adopted%20in%20accordance%20with%20Rule%2010b5-1%20under%20the%20Securities%20Exchange%20Act%20of%201934.%20Any%20repurchased%20shares%20will%20be%20held%20by%20the%20company%20as%20treasury%20shares.%20The%20timing%20of%20the%20purchases%20will%20depend%20on%20certain%20factors%2C%20including%20but%20not%20limited%20to%2C%20market%20conditions%20and%20prices%2C%20available%20funds%20and%20alternative%20uses%20of%20capital.%20The%20repurchase%20program%20will%20commence%20immediately.%20As%20of%20March%2031%2C%202013%2C%20the%20company%20has%20made%20no%20repurchases.
