Cheetah Holdings Berhad announced unaudited consolidated financial results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of MYR 31,089,000 against MYR 31,087,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 3,517,000 against MYR 3,882,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent was MYR 2,628,000 or 2.11 sen per basic share against MYR 2,909,000 or 2.28 sen per basic share a year ago. Decrease in profit before tax was due to higher operating costs. For the six months, the company reported revenue of MYR 70,413,000 against MYR 69,578,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was MYR 8,809,000 against MYR 9,272,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent was MYR 6,597,000 or 5.28 sen per basic share against MYR 6,969,000 or 5.46 sen per basic share a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was MYR 15,877,000 against net cash used in operating activities of MYR 1,710,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 1,448,000 against MYR 1,793,000 a year ago.

Cheetah Holdings Berhad reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended September 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported revenues of MYR 39.324 million, profit before tax of MYR 5.292 million, profit attributable to equity share holders of the company of MYR 3.969 million or 3.17 sent per basic share compared to the revenues of MYR 38.491 million, profit before tax of MYR 5.390 million, profit attributable to equity share holders of the company of MYR 4.060 million or 3.18 sent per basic share for the same period year ago. Net cash used in operating activities was MYR 1.657 million compared to the MYR 1.725 million for the same period year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 0.471 million compared to the MYR 0.867 million for the same period year ago.

Cheetah Holdings Berhad announced that subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Fifteenth Annual General Meeting to be held on 28 November 2012, a first and final dividend of 2.55 sen per ordinary share of MYR 0.50 each less income tax for the financial year ended 30 June 2012 will be payable on 8 January 2013 to depositors registered in the record of depositors on 13 December 2012.
