Ravinay Trading Co. Ltd. reported unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2012. For the quarter, the company reported net sales and income from operations of INR 112.3 million against nil a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 21 million against loss of INR 0.05 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activities before tax was INR 21 million against loss of INR 0.05 million a year ago. Net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates was INR 16.8 million against loss of INR 0.05 million a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was INR 5.60 against loss per share of INR 0.02 a year ago. For the six months, the company reported net sales and income from operations of INR 239.7 million against INR 43 million a year ago.
