United Pacific Industries Limited, an investment holding company, provides hand and garden tools, magnetic products and applications, precision measurement products, and OEM/consumer electronics worldwide. The company’s Contract Manufacturing division offers industrial-grade chargers; electronic components and products, such as industrial work lights, coils and solenoids, and PCBA; and end-user durables, such as chargers for self-drive cars, toys for children, travel chargers, and LED lights, as well as plastic injection capability services. Its Consumer Electronics division designs and manufactures consumer electronic and wireless products, including video monitoring systems for babies, pets, and home security, as well as medical hearing enhancers, Bluetooth headphones, and wireless speakers. The company’s Tools division designs, manufactures, assembles, procures, sells, and distributes lawn, garden, and agricultural tools; wood saws; hacksaw blades and frames; and contractors’ tools, engineers’ tools, plumbers’ tools, power tools, and electric garden implements. This division also offers children’s gardening products and accessories; specialty tools comprising woodturning, woodcarving, and woodworking tools for hobbyists and professional woodworkers; and lathe accessories and tool sharpening products. Its Precision Measurement division provides metrology and measurement tools, such as bore gauging, air gauging, SmartPlugs, universal gauging, micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and workshop tools for the automotive, aerospace, and oil and gas industries. This division also offers optical-based measuring instruments and gauging products for industrial, manufacturing, and professional use. The company’s Magnetic Technologies division provides magnetic tools, magnetic chucks, magnetic lifting equipments, and turnkey magnetic systems. United Pacific Industries Limited is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong.

United Pacific Industries Ltd. Announces Changes in Management Team

The Board of United Pacific Industries Ltd. announced that with effect from 30 May 2014, Mr. Hsu and Mr. Patrick John Dyson have resigned as executive Directors. The resignation of Mr. Hsu as an executive Director was in accordance with the Disposal Agreement whereas the resignation of Mr. Patrick John Dyson as an executive Director was due to the fact that he would like to focus on the operations of the PGH Group and the PHL Group upon completion of the Disposal. Each of Mr. Hsu and Mr. Patrick John Dyson has confirmed that they have no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters in respect of their resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the Shareholders and the Stock Exchange. Following his resignation as an executive Director, Mr. Hsu has ceased to be a member of the remuneration committee and the nominating and corporate governance committee of the company. The Board further announced that Ms. Hu Gin Ing, an independent non-executive Director, has been appointed as a member of the remuneration committee of the company with effect from 30 May 2014. With effect from the same date, Mr. Lan Yen-Po, an independent non-executive Director, has been appointed as a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee of the company.
