The board of directors of HyComm Wireless Ltd. expected to record a loss for the year ended March 31, 2013 as compared to a profit for the year ended March 31, 2012. Such loss was mainly attributable to the decrease in amount of the revaluation gain on investment properties.

HyComm Wireless Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended September 30, 2012. For the period, the company reported turnover of HKD 4,164,000 compared to HKD 4,338,000 reported in the same period a year ago. Profit from operations was HKD 653,000 compared to loss from operations of HKD 417,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was HKD 653,000 compared to loss before taxation of HKD 670,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was HKD 653,000 or 0.13 cents per basic share compared to loss for the period of HKD 670,000 or 0.14 cents per basic share a year ago. Profit for the period attributable to owners of the company was HKD 627,000 compared to loss for the period attributable to owners of the company was HKD 683,000 a year ago. Net cash used in operations was HKD 288,000 compared to HKD 20,145,000 a year ago. During the period, the global financial instability and economic recession has generally affected the business environment in Hong Kong.
