Exceed Company Ltd. announced that it will appoint William Sharp as an independent director and will form audit, compensation and nominations committees. Mr. Sharp joins the board alongside another current independent director, Professor Jichun Jin. The audit committee will be chaired by Mr. Sharp and both the compensation and nominations committees will be chaired by Professor Jin. All three committees will be comprised of Mr. Sharp and Professor Jin. Professor Jin is a professor of sports biomechanics at the Beijing Sports University, where he was formerly the University President.

Xdlong China Ltd is looking at an IPO in Hong Kong this year, a source close to the matter informed. As per the source, amount to be raised was not decided, but the company may raise about $300 million based on the rivals’ valuations. The source said that Xdlong has already filed a listing application with the Hong Kong stock exchange. Goldman Sachs is reportedly involved in the deal as one source claims it to be a sponsor of the deal and another source said that Goldman had not been formally appointed yet.
