GEO Minerals Ltd. has signed two separate option agreements with Inmet Mining Corporation (Inmet). The contract has been signed to explore the firm's porphyry copper projects located in the Arizona porphyry copper province. Inmet will have the option to earn a 70% interest in Geo Minerals Red Hills property and a 70% interest in the company's Middle Mountain property by offering cumulative cash payments of USD 675,000 and exploration expenditures of USD 2,000,000 over five years on each of the projects.

GEO Minerals Ltd. and Alix Resources Corp. announced that the Phase II drilling program is now underway at the companies Red Deer Lake Coal Property located in Manitoba adjacent to Goldsource’s Border Property and directly south of Westcore’s Hudson Bay North Property. CorePro Drilling Inc. has been contracted to perform the drilling. The proposed drilling program follows on the March 2009, Red Deer Lake Phase I drilling program and calls for up to 24 drill holes, to be drilled by CorePro Drilling Inc. These drillholes are targeted to test the Cretaceous Mannville Formation that is covered by the Manitoba Coal Property and where Goldsource discovered the Durango Coal seam.

Alix Resources Corp. and GEO Minerals Ltd. announced that Phase II drilling is scheduled to commence within 21 days on the companies' Red Deer Lake Coal Property located in Manitoba adjacent to Goldsource's 'Border Property' and directly south of Westcore's 'Hudson Bay North Property'. Borehole licenses to allow drilling on the Companies' 'Red Deer Lake' Property have now been received from the Manitoba Mines Branch and CorePro Drilling Inc. has been contracted to perform the drilling. This permit block is located immediately west of Goldsource's Border Property and is considered one of the highest priority targets of the Companies' portfolio of coal properties. Due to the regional southwest dip of the lower Cretaceous Mannville units and the potential for coal to occur at shallower depths to the northeast, the northern portion of the Red Deer Lake block will be the main focus area of this drilling campaign. 'Border Coal Discovery' Property.
