US Airways Group Inc. announced the appointment of Madeleine Gray as vice president, business technology delivery. Gray will focus on airport and customer-facing technology and the systems that support it. She will lead a team of 110 technology professionals within the 500-person US Airways information technology (IT) organization. Her appointment was approved by the company's board of directors earlier this week. She reports to Brad Jensen, senior vice president and chief information officer. Gray joins US Airways from Sabre Holdings Corporation, where she served as senior director, air merchandising and core services, where she led a team of more than 100 developers, analysts, product managers and systems architects.

For the month, the company has posted total consolidated revenue passenger miles of 4,861,452,000, total consolidated available seat miles of 5,916,276,000 and total consolidated load factor of 82.2% compared to total consolidated revenue passenger miles of 4,888,975,000, total consolidated available seat miles of 6,017,356,000 and total consolidated load factor of 81.2%. For the year to date the company has posted total consolidated revenue passenger miles of 51,022,457,000, total consolidated available seat miles of 62,301,016,000 and total consolidated load factor of 81.9% compared to total consolidated revenue passenger miles of 53,501,856,000, total consolidated available seat miles of 65,604,173,000 and total consolidated load factor of 81.6%.
