AT&T Inc. operates as a communications holding company. Its subsidiaries and affiliates provide the AT&T brand services in the United States and internationally. The company’s Wireless segment offers wireless voice communications services, including local wireless communications, long-distance, and roaming services with various postpaid and prepaid service plans. This segment also supplies various handsets and personal computer wireless data cards, as well as accessories. Its Wireline segment offers voice services, including local and long-distance services, calling card, 1-800 services, conference calling, wholesale switched access service, caller ID, call waiting, and voice mail services. This segment also provides data services, such as switched and dedicated transport, Internet access and network integration, and data equipment; high-speed connections comprising private lines, packet, dedicated Internet, and enterprise networking services, as well as DSL/broadband, dial-up Internet access, and WiFi products; businesses voice applications over IP-based networks; and local, interstate, and international wholesale networking capacity to other service providers. In addition, it offers managed Web hosting, application management, security and related consulting services, integration services, outsourcing, directory and operator assistance services, government-related services, and U-verse television and satellite video services. The company’s Advertising and Publishing segment publishes Yellow and White Pages directories; sells directory and Internet-based advertising; and provides multi-enterprise collaboration services to businesses in various industries, including retail, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and telecom. The company was formerly known as SBC Communications Inc. and changed its name to AT&T Inc. in November 2005 as a result of merger with AT&T Corp. AT&T Inc. was founded in 1983 and is based in Dallas, Texas.

AT&T Inc. announced it will begin selling the HP Mini 110 in its stores nationwide. The HP Mini features built-in access to the nation's fastest 3G network and the largest Wi-Fi network in the U.S., and includes the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. It will be available for $199 after mail-in rebate via an AT&T Promotion Card and a two-year data service contract. With a startingweight of 2.57 pounds, the HP Mini 110offers a 10.1 inch LED anti-glare widescreen display, 1GB of memory, an Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive(1), and an HP webcam with an integrated microphone. It comes with HP QuickSync to enable automatic synching of files saved on the Mini with a home or work PC when connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Plus, the HP Mini 110 is backed by superb HP service and support. The HP Mini also comes equipped with AT&T Communication Manager (ACM) 7.0 featuring a redesigned user-friendly interface, making it easy for customers to manage their usage and connections. The newly revamped Communication Manager automatically connects users to available AT&T Hot Spots when the program is activated. ACM is designed to be compatible with Windows 7 for in-market and previously launched devices.
Wound Technology Network teams with AT&T Inc. to facilitate treatment of chronically wounded patients in their Homes. Patients who have chronic wounds and may be immobilized can now receive treatment in their homes by experienced clinicians who collaborate remotely with certified wound care specialists miles away. Wound Technology Network is using wireless technology services from AT&T and empowering healthcare professionals with smart mobile devices to diagnose and prescribe treatments for patients with chronic wounds anytime, anywhere. Under a two year agreement with AT&T, Wound Technology Network will equip its clinical staff including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants across South Florida and Southern California with HTC FUZE(TM) smart mobile devices when providing care in patient's homes. Clinical staff will use the devices to access an application developed by iVisit, which creates videoconferencing tools for mobile devices and PCs, and speak live with a wound care specialist at Wound Technology Network's tele-health center who will assist them to assess their patients' wounds and perform the necessary treatment. To aid in the treatment process, clinical staff will also capture images of the patient's wounds using the HTC FUZE(TM) and transmit the images to the wound care specialists to upload onto an electronic medical record which is immediately faxed to the patient's primary care physician.
AT&T Inc. unveiled a new high tech wireless store located in Tanger Outlets in Deer Park. The spacious new location is 3,900 square feet with an interactive design that redefines the wireless shopping experience. The store is located in the Tanger Outlets in Archers Circle just off the intersection of Commack Road and Grand Boulevard in Deer Park. Regular hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
