The company’s mobile communication business includes voice, data, Internet, content services, customer equipment, and electronic commerce. Its fixed line services comprise analog PSTN, digital ISDN, broadbandtelephony, xDSL, Internet and leased lines, as well as communication solutions. The company’s TV-based activities include pay-TV services via satellite dish, cable TVnetworks, and satellite master antenna TV-networks systems. Telenor ASA also owns and operates the national terrestrial broadcast network in Norway, which provides satellite broadcasting services to the Nordic region and Europe. In addition, it provides access services for pay-TV to approximately 300 digital TV providers. The company operates in Asia; Nordic countries, such as Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland; and Hungary, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, and Ukraine countries in central and eastern Europe. Telenor ASA was founded in 1885 and is based in Fornebu, Norway.

We think we have got a reasonable price.” The firm also plans to raise its stake in Unitech Wireless to 74%.
