It is believed that Tribal Group plc is considering plans to sell Nightingale Architects Ltd. The company has held talks with potential advisers, though no final decision on a sale has been taken. As per analyst Nightingale Architects is worth £10 million.

Tribal Group plc announced the appointment of John Ormerod and Mathew Masters as non-executive directors of the company from 21 October 2009. John Ormerod has also been appointed to Chair the Audit Committee of the company. David Thompson, currently Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee, will stand down as a director of the company on 21 October 2009. Lady Katherine Innes Ker, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, has been appointed Senior Independent Director of the company from 21 October 2009. John Ormerod, formerly a partner at Deloitte, is a non-executive director of several public and private companies, including Computacenter plc (where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee), Misys plc (where he is Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee), ITV plc and Gemalto NV (where he is Chairman of the Audit Committee). The company is planning to appoint an additional non-executive director and expects to make an announcement regarding this in due course. Further to the announcement made on 28 September 2009, the company is making good progress in its search for a new Group Finance Director to succeed Simon Lawton when he leaves the company next year.

Tribal Group plc announced that its Group Finance Director, Simon Lawton, has informed the Board of his intention to leave the Group after nearly 10 years in order to pursue other opportunities. Simon will facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities to his successor and expects to remain with Tribal until the announcement of the Group's preliminary results in March 2010.
