Its Retail segment provides various insurance products and services to commercial, public and quasi-public entity, professional, and individual customers. The company’s Services segment provides risk management and third-party administration services for insurance entities, and self-funded or fully-insured workers’ compensation and liability plans; medical utilization management services for workers’ compensation and liability insurance plans; and Medicare Secondary Payer statute compliance-related services. Brown & Brown, Inc. was founded in 1956 and is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida with an additional office in Tampa, Florida.
