Hankook Signs for EUR 120 Million Credit Line from Eximbank, Partners

Magyar Export-Import Bank and a consortium of three Hungarian commercial banks signed a contract with the local unit Hankook on a EUR 120 millikon pre-financing credit line on August 11, 2014. Hankook will use the credit to expand production capacity at its base in Racalmas, south of the capital.

Hankook Tire Breaks Ground R&D Centre in South Korea

Hankook Tire has broken ground on its KRW 266 billion research and development centre Hankook Technodome at Daeduk Innopolis in Daejeon, South Korea, designed by UK-based architectural firm Foster + Partners. The project is part of the company's long-term strategic plan to build new research and development infrastructure, which includes the construction of a new testing facility, the Hankook Test Engineering Centre in Sangju. The seven-storey research and development centre located in Daejeon will sit on a 70,387m² area featuring 90 laboratories and 96,328 m² of floor space.
