Hyundai Glovis Co., Ltd. announced that they will report Q1, 2013 results on Apr 26, 2013

Agenda: To consider the financial position, income statement and retained earnings on disposal statement (draft), changes in equity and cash flows; to consider the election of directors; to consider the appointment of audit committee member; and to consider the approval of directors' remuneration limit.

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Hyundai Motor Company are expected to compete for the acquisition of STX Pan Ocean Co., Ltd. According to industrial sources and media reports, Samsung and Hyundai are considering taking over STX Pan Ocean to expand their marine logistics operations. The sources added that Hahn & Company is also expected to join the bid for STX Pan Ocean. Sources added that Hyundai Motor’s logistics arm Hyundai Glovis Co., Ltd. and Samsung's two subsidiaries Samsung Electronics Logitech Co., Ltd. and Samsung SDS Co., Ltd., have expressed keen interest in the deal. Maeil Business Newspaper said that Samsung SDS and Hyundai Motor denied the report, saying that they have not yet made any decision on the takeover of STX Pan Ocean. STX will send information memorandum to domestic and foreign investors, including the three primary candidates after it selects an underwriter for the possible deal.
