This enables customers to achieve 36dB MER for 64 QAM modulation with 39 channels at 52 dBmV per channel. Unlike the competition, this device offers a power down function for each of the amplifier stages allowing reduced power consumption (green operation), when less gain is required. This configurability makes the MAAM-011122 an ideal solution to replace legacy Silicon and GaAs solutions for upcoming DOCSIS3.1 upgrades.
